Posted September 08, 2018 07:03:25When she was five years old, Christina Dzierzinska, from Minnesota, decided to pursue a career in dentistry.
“I wanted to do it full time, but I didn’t have the time to do that,” she told The Associated Press in an interview.
The 16-year-old is now an experienced dental technician and the second youngest person to earn a dental license in the U.S.
Dzierkszia’s mother, Jennifer, is proud of her daughter’s progress.
“She has an amazing ability to make progress and I love watching her progress,” she said.
She added that she believes Dzierszia will be able to “put her teeth back together” after her surgery and receive her dental education.
“It’s so much better than before,” she explained.

Jennifer Dziuszowski said she has been surprised by her daughters progress since she was younger.
“When she first came in, she was a lot like, `I want to have my own room and my own bathroom,'” she said, laughing.
“But she`m a lot happier now.”
She`s very proud of herself, but she`ve really worked hard at being a professional.
She`s working on her voice, she`d like to be more patient with herself,” she added.
“And I`ll keep watching.””
Whenever I see her, I`m like,`Oh my gosh, she is working so hard,” she shared.

Jennifer is still hesitant to talk about her progress with the public, but is encouraged by the positive messages her daughter is receiving.
“The thing that has really helped me a lot is that I`ve had a lot more support from the people who care about me and my son,” she continued.
“They`ve told me that I can be happy about the way I look, I can smile and they`re proud of me.
They`re like, you know, you are doing this.”
