A new study has found how to prevent dental caries and other health problems for children and adults.
Researchers from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry found that children ages 5-11 years can experience less pain and discomfort when they are in the gum stage of tooth decay.
The research also found that when children in the stage of dental cariousness are given a gel, the pain and soreness can disappear, as well as reduce tooth grinding.
Dr. David Katz, the study’s lead author, said that gum disease in children is caused by a lack of proper nutrition and stress.
In the study, researchers found that the gums of children in this stage of decay had a different structure than the gum in adults.
The researchers also found differences in how the different types of gum were used in children and their gum function.
The study is published in the Journal of the American Dental Association.
