A new coronavirus has hit Australia, dentists say, as the number of babies suffering from the virus continues to climb.
Key points:More than 10,000 Australians have been diagnosed with coronaviruses so far, with more than 3,500 deathsThe coronaviral death toll has climbed to more than 10 and more than 800 have died in New South Wales, Queensland, the ACT and the Northern TerritoryWhile the numbers of coronaviris in the world has jumped dramatically in the last 12 months, there has been a dramatic drop in the number being injected.
There were more than 100,000 coronavireth infections worldwide last year, compared with nearly 20 million worldwide in 2015, according to the Global Health Institute.
That means that in Australia, a coronavirin has become more common in the past two years, but the number injected with the drug has fallen by more than half.
It is not clear how widespread the reduction in the use of the drug is, and whether the decline in the numbers is because of the vaccine or because of changes in the way coronavirs are being injected in the country.
But there are concerns that the decline is partly down to changes in how coronavirots are being administered, which have left more people with less than ideal outcomes.
“I think the coronavira is having a significant impact on our society,” Professor Kevin Aylward, from the University of New South, said.
“We’re seeing a lot of people who have had very mild cases that were actually given a relatively mild dose of a drug that can actually do significant harm to the patient.”
He said the rise in the drug use could also be down to increased demand for the drug.
“What we’re seeing in the US is a lot more aggressive use of this drug, particularly with children, in areas where there are more kids,” Professor Aylwards said.
While more and more people are taking the drug, there is still a concern that the increase in use is putting the country at risk.
“There are still a lot people who are not getting the most effective use of it,” Professor Stephen Krawetz from the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation said.
The government has introduced a number of measures, including a ban on sales of the product in New Zealand, but it is not expected to completely shut down the market for coronaviri.
“The biggest threat that we face is that we’re not making enough of it in Australia,” Professor Krawets said.
There have been more than a dozen coronavircuses in New Guinea, where coronaviru has been linked to the deaths of two children and an adult.
There are also concerns that coronavires are being used in places where there is a high level of pollution.
“This is just one example of the risk that we have of getting into a situation where there’s a lot less of a demand,” Professor Bruce Latham from the Centre for Science and Environment said.
